TUITION AND FEES
Tuition is set by the school board. Yearly tuition for K-8 may be paid in ten monthly installments of $300 for a total of $3000 for the school year. Yearly tuition forPreK and K4 is $1500 and may be paid in monthly installments of $150. Monthly tuition payments are due by the 15th of each month beginning in August and ending in May. Tuition installments become delinquent ten days after originally due. After one month of delinquent tution a student may be subject to suspension until the account is brought current. Parents should contact the Administrator or secretary ahead of time if there is going to be some payment difficulty so that satisfactory arrangements for payment can be made. Students entering after the start of the school year will have tuition adjusted according to actual months/weeks enrolled. Registration fees must be paid prior to a student's first day of attendance. Fees for K-8 are $200, K4 are $75, and PreK are $60. There is a $50 technology fee for 7th and 8th grade students. There is a discount of 10% for registration fees paid before May 30. Registration and book fees are non-refundable.
Tuition assistance is available to VCA students based on need. Forms are available from the Administrator or the Secretary. Applicants must provide the information requested in the application to be eligible for assistance. The maximum assistance available is set by the school board.
In order to further help with the costs that are associated with school, VCA offers a uniform exchange. When a student outgrows their gently used uniforms they donate them back so that a younger student can use the uniform the following year. Twice a year one of our parents opens up our uniform exchange so the parents may choose uniform items they need. This is completely free and has been a huge help to many families.
