We believe in one God existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that God is the source of all life, creator and sustainer of all creation.
We believe in the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, His vicarious, substitutionary, and atoning death, His bodily resurrection and second coming.
We believe that all scripture is inspired by God and that it is the supreme and final authority in faith and life.
We belive that man is created in the image of God, that the first man, Adam, sinned, that this sin caused physical and spiritual death, and that since Adam, all persons are born with a sinful nature.
We believe that man is saved by grace through faith, wholly apart from human merit and works, and that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again to a new life in Jesus Christ .
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all the dead; the saved to eternal life and the unsaved to a life of eternal judgement.
We believe that Christians are to be seperated unto God, living holy lives pleasing to Him, and witnessing to His glory.
We believe that God directly created the heavens and the earth and all that lies therein in six days.

Vandalia Christian Academy is a Christian school teaching a Christian curriculum. Christian education calls for an educational process putting the Bible at the center and asking the student to evaluate all he /she sees in the world through the eyes of God- because God is Truth. "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." (John 14:6) There is an important difference between a Christian and a non-Christian viewpoint on a given subject. Even though knowledge is factually the same for both, no subject can be taught in the totality of its truth if the Creator is ignored or denied. Knowledge is purified by the recognition of God's place in it.
It's been a busy summer as we prepare for a fantastic 2019-2020 school year!
We are welcoming some new staff members this year. Ms. Sara Cortelloni is joining us as the teacher in kindergarten-first grade,
Ms. Christine Jones will be teaching in the fourth-fifth grade class, and Mrs. Ashley Wagoner is joining the preschool and 4-K class as the teacher's assistant.
Ms. Jones is a music teacher, so we are adding a music class once per week for our students.
Our Read-A-Thon has raised enough money for new desks in our 4-K class, kindergarten-first grade class, and add needed desks to the second-third grade class!
Then we are setting up a computer lab for the younger students with desktop computers donated by StateFarm Insurance!
